My name is Kelsey, and I’m an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and ACE Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I have a Bachelors in Health Promotion and Wellness. I took a lot of Psychology courses in college as well, and I like to focus on overall health and well being with each individual client as opposed to just focusing on fitness.
I’ve been working as a Personal Trainer since I graduated college. I started out working in the Washington Regional Hospital Center for Exercise Mobility Program. I was able to help people build strength and learn basic movements – including walking! – and it got me hooked on Personal Training.
Though I started in rehab, I’m super passionate about helping women find their strength. When I’m training a client I look at their whole lifestyle and help them to find the best strategies to make fitness and wellness part of their daily life. I look at overall health as something that should add to your life – you shouldn’t feel like you’re depriving yourself to be healthy.
